Her name says it all! The meaning of Velma is “Desire to protect”. This family General has fallen with over forty-three million one hundred thirty thousand one hundred ninety-six Minutes on the battlefield, Thank you!! For Protection this great beautiful garden called family now we stand alone missing the one who nurtured us, But your flowers still bloom and the sun still shines but the rain is like tear drops for the ones left behind. She loved every flower even some that were weeds kept putting love in each plant. Velma laid in that bed with her Desire to keep on Protecting she tried so hard to hold on but God was calling her home. You see God needed another angel to help pour out the rain just like her flowers she was part of Gods plan. On April 13th 2017 It was a deep voice calling her name saying “Velma” But she kept on sleeping then the voice said “Velma Marie Robertson- Hunt” she open her eyes and look around with her big smile showing off them gold’s the angel reached down with his hand said "Rest NOW!" on her way home the Angel ask her "Are you ready"? Then and opened the gates it was crowds of angel love ones clapping and celebrating during her grand entrance, God said "well done good and faithful servant ". But family that’s not the end of the story Something happen a trumpet, bass guitar, old school Hammond organ, grand piano and drums then Auntie took the stage and start singing I am free Praise the Lord I'm free No longer bound No more chains holding me Soul is resting And it’s just another blessing Praise the Lord Hallelujah, I'm free I’ve got to say it one more time I am free Praise the Lord, I'm free I’ve been saved and sanctified Filled with His holy holiness I’m resting It's another blessing Praise the Lord Hallelujah, I'm free
