Mary Young was born in Selmer, Tennessee on February 5, 1956 the daughter of Paul Sanders and Magdalene Martin Sanders.
On March 31, 1980 she was united in marriage to Climmie Young Jr, who continues to carry her love with him.
She graduated from McNairy Central High School. She was such a hard worker at anything she participated in. She was very strong willed. She was such a great caregiver and homemaker. She found pleasure in decorating her home, yard and especially her Christmas Tree. She was very strong in her faith and wise in her character. She attended and worshiped at Apostolic Deliverance Church in Selmer, TN. She loved her parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, great grand child, nieces, nephews, great neices, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mary had a big heart and it filled her heart with joy to see all her family together and in harmony.
Mary departed this life on Thursday, August 24, 2023 while at home in Bethel Springs at the age of 67 years, 6 months, and 19 days. Heaven gained a precious angel on this day that will be forevermore missed here on earth.
She is survived by her her Mother, Magdalene Sanders; her Husband, Climmie Young Jr; her Son, DeKarie Sanders and wife, Kimberly; her Son, Climmie Young III (CJ); her Daughter, Christine Young; her Grandchildren, Savion, Mariah, Kingston, Sadie, and Davius; her Great grandchild, Lond’ynn Re’Naee; her Brother, Michael Sanders; her Brother, John Sanders; her Brother, Ricky Sanders and wife, Karen; her Sister, Glenda Sanders; her Sister, Diane Guevara and husband, Alfonso; her nieces: Mirianda Knight; Tiandra Knight; Mirissa Sanders; Veronica Payne; Asia Perry; April Sanders; Marie Sanders; her nephews: Brian Sanders and wife, Yvonna; Shaun Sanders and wife, Leanne; Jermaine Knight; LaKeyvan Sanders; JR Sebree; DJ Sanders; Patrick Sanders; her Aunt, Joanne Martin; her Uncle, Bill Martin; One Brother-in-law: Clement C.(Caroline) of MS Four Sisters-in-law: AJ(Oscar), of Illinois; Glory of Texas; Mary and Sheryl of Indiana along with a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her Father, Paul Sanders; her brothers: Donald and James Sanders; her sisters: Francene Johnson, Linda Brashers; her nephew, Tiwian Sanders.
