Deondrais Devonta Mckinnie was born January 20, 2001 to Earlie D. Mckinnie and Jessica Buggs. Deondrais was known as the miracle baby weighing 2 pounds, 2 ounces at birth.

Deondrais was known as “Dre” to all that knew and loved him. He attended Hardeman County Schools and graduated from Middleton High School in 2019.

Dre confessed Christ as his savior and joined Hardaway MB Church.

He later joined New Victory Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert Camper where he remained a member until God called him home.

Dre loved life, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved shopping, especially for shoes. He was a comedian and loved making people laugh.

Dre was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother; Gladys Buggs: paternal grandfather; Earlie C. Mckinnie: paternal grandmothers; Thelma Mckinnie and Louise Golden.

Dre leaves to cherish his memories: his loving devoted parents; Jessica Buggs (Jed) of Grand Junction, TN and Earlie D. Mckinnie (Lil Mane) of Memphis, TN: two sisters; Javonna Buggs of Murfreesboro, TN and Jada McKinnie of Grand Junction, TN: one brother; Emari Mckinnie of Holly Springs, MS: Grandmothers; Joy Buggs, Marion (Isaiah) Hunt, and Barbara Mckinnie all of Grand Junction, TN: eleven aunts; Kimala Buggs, Michelle Golden, Moneka Mckinnie, Taquila (Fredrick) Murden, Lasandra (Brandon) Lynn, Tukesha (Donte) Smoot, Marquita (Victor) Robinson, Lakuita Poplar, Dianna Mckinnie, Kayla Poplar, and Cornesha Hunt: four uncles; Demetrious Hunt, Andre (Yulanda) Taylor, Manuel D. (Shanda) Donis, and Areka Mckinnie: two best friends; Karnekiquia Murdock ”Nek Nek” and Markeye Hardaway “Nae Nae” and a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
