Anthony “Tony/Shine” Stackens left us on August 21st, he accepted Christ early in life, he was very faithful to God; he read and studied the Bible daily. He shared private moments with God and shared the Word with all he met.

Tony was always laughing and cutting up with everyone he encountered; he laughed more at his own jokes than anyone else; loved a good game of golf and watching football. He would especially drop a scripture during any conversation and he never met a stranger.

Tony leaves to cherish his memory, his precious wife, Sheleta “Shay” Stackens, one daughter: Shenea Richards & one son: Adarius “AJ” Stackens; and four grandchildren: Alayah, Alanna, Ayevion & Kasstiel.

Tony leaves his maternal family: his mother, Shirley Avant; grandfather: Brodie Stackens; two sisters: Vickie Stackens (one nephew: Donovan) and Stephanie Morrison (two nieces, Alexa & Imani); uncle: James L. (Linda) Nolden of Omaha, NE; 2 cousin/sisters: Sandra “Sandy” (Kurtiss) Sutton & Yalanda “Dee” (Myron) Johnson; 4 great nieces. Tony was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Ruby Stackens Garner & one great niece, Samia.

He also leaves his paternal family: Bobby Robinson, Sr., father; one sister, Matilda; two brothers, Bobby Robinson, Jr. & Dewayne Kirk; & Randolph, who preceded him in death.

Bonus family: Daughter in love: Totiona Simmons. Two sisters-in-law: Alicea Barnette (Rashad, Deandre, Jerrica) & Shelby Wilkes, one brother in law: Kevis Wilkes (Catlyn, Anijah, Jordan & Tyson).

All the Purdy boys & girls, cousins & friends: he was raised with and loved like brothers and sisters. All the great aunts & uncles, who had a hand in his unbringing. The Red Rage Cardinals at Adamsville High School where he was dominate in the BIG 3 sports.
