‘A Time To Be Born’, Geneva H. Williams was born on May 16, 1942 to the late Willie B. and Nettie Mae Harmon. At ‘A Time to Labor’, Geneva was educated in Hrmon Grove School of Juno and then Montgomery School of Lexington, TN. After finishing school, Geneva lived in various states for many years before moving back home to Tennessee. She had many professions throughout her life. She was an employee at the grocery chain, Piggly Wiggly, then became a valuable member of Booth’s Restaurant, where she was known for her famous pies and personality. She then spent her last working years at Johnson Controls. She later retired after 18 plus years. ‘A Time To Reflect’, In her retirement, Geneva loved to spend her time with family and friends. In here leisure time, she would enjoy watching basketball, cooking, and listening to music. On February 18, 2021, God called Geneva home. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, L.C. Harmon, Sr., Sisters Joyce Marie Carver, Nola Catherine Campbell, one grandchild and one great grandchild. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jeanette Guider of Lexington, TN, Roderick Williams, Cleveland, OH, Robert Harmon, Woodbridge, VA, sister, Evelyn Washington of Lexington, TN, Glenda Harmon, Chicago, IL, and Vera Harmon of Detroit, MI, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. |
