Rodney Dean Lamberson

Mr. Rodney “Turk” Dean Lamberson was born in Smith County, Tennessee. He came into the world on December 14, 1941 to the late William Issac and Ladian Stanton Lamberson. He departed this life on November 19, 2020.

He received his education at Darwin High School in 1959. In addition, he worked for the Tennessee Department of Transportation until his retirement in 1999. At an early age, he devoted his life to serving Jesus Christ. Later in his adult life, he became a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Mr. Earl Dirkson. Also, he remained a faithful member of the church until his untimely death.

Memories of Rodney will forever be cherished by his loving and devoted children, Deoundria (Carlton) Sanders, Vanessa Simmons and her partner Cedric Hunt, Rodney (Jodel) Lamberson, Stan Lamberson and partner Beth Maynard. To cherish in his memories are sister Marion Prigmore, thirteen grandchildren, six great-grand-children and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rodney was preceded in death by four siblings, Stanton Lamberson, Dorothy Lamberson, Joyce Stewart, William Issac Lamberson Jr., and grandson Zachary Poston.
