Monty Boyd Arnold departed this life on November 21, 2020. His journey ended, his life well lived, and his rest well earned. Monty was born March 13, 1951 in Henderson County to the late Jerry Lee and Bertha Mae Arnold. He attended Montgomery High School. In 1968, he was joined in holy matrimony to Dian Simmons. To this union, three children were born. Monty was employed by Nidec for 49 years until his death. He was a hard worker and great provider for his family. If you knew Monty, you knew how much he loved riding motorcycles and horses. He spent several years participating in rodeos. He was also compassionate and always helping others in need. He was a positive influence in so many young lives. Monty enjoyed having a good time and spending time with family. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life. By the way he lived, it was evident that he loved his family and friends. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 52 years, Dian Arnold; a daughter, Camille Willingham of Cordova, TN; two sons, Monty “Tojo” Arnold and Trenton (Jessica) Arnold of Lexington, TN; 13 grandchildren, Kelsey, Nigel, Spencer, Brennen, Bailee, Bryleigh, Brooklynn, Jagger, Giana, Jada, Gabrielle, Jasmine, and Jakobi; six great-grandchildren Makayla, Alyssa, Kylee, Ethan, Khaden, and Khara; five brothers Larry (Mary) Arnold, Rodney (Joy) Arnold, Darryl (Jeannie) Arnold, Aubrey Arnold all of Lexington, TN, and Lewis (Orkanella) Arnold of Clarksville, TN; two sisters, Sandra Croom and Sharon “Tiny”(Sheldon) Carver of Lexington, TN; eight sisters-in-law, Beltha Ross of Loudon, TN, Novella (Gene) Parram of Whiteville, TN, Regina Thomas of LaVergne, TN, Priscilla Johnson, Gloria Taylor, Judy Montague, Wendy Owens, and Darlene Simmons all of Lexington, TN, two brothers-in-law Tim Simmons of Lexington, TN and Milton Harvey of Cedar Grove, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. |
