On July 27, 1970 Robert Earl Bills was born to Willie C. and Rosie Bills. He was the precious baby of three children. Robert was lovingly known as “Bob” or “Big Bob” to family and friends both near and far.

Robert peacefully passed from this life at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN on Thursday, July 23rd, at 4:22 PM, after a hard fought battle against COVID-19.

He joined the Mt. Salem Baptist Church at an early age. He was a faithful member of the Church Choir and the Male Chorus. Robert truly loved the Lord, his church and his pastor, Reverend Melvin Bufford.

If you were looking for Robert, you probably went straight to the McDonald’s in Bolivar, TN. He was always there spending time with his friends, making people laugh and putting smiles on faces.

Robert spent the last 20+ years of his life with his faithful life companion, Ms. Dawn Hill. Robert and Dawn fit together perfectly, like two beautiful pieces of love’s jigsaw puzzle. Dawn was there for Robert through sickness and health. The Bills Family will be forever grateful to Dawn for the endless love and care she gave to Robert.

Robert leaves to cherish his loving memories; a sister, Rosie Ann Creer of St. Louis, MO and a brother, Corey Bills of Cordova, TN; a brother-in- law, Barnabas L. Creer of St. Louis, MO and a sister-in-law, Shantel Bills of Cordova, TN; a nephew, Anthony L. Creer of St. Louis, MO and a niece, Cortney Rose Bills of Cordova, TN; one uncle, Robert T. Bills of St. Louis, MO and three aunts, Bobbie Rucker and Hattie Clark, both of Bolivar, TN and Louise Pigrum of Hickory Valley, TN; and host of cousins and friends.
