These last few weeks Ozella Fields Coleman and God had a few serious discussions. They talked about the pain and suffering Ozella had experienced here on earth and God told her about his promises and peace she could find waiting on his return. God told her about heaven and all the wonderful things that await her outside this world filled with heartache, danger, and pain. On December 16, 2019 at 4:50 A.M., at Jackson Madison General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee, Ozella and God decided it was due time for her to receive her ultimate reward. God said, “WEll done, good, and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your Master’s happiness!” Ozella smiled and realized it was time to finally rest.

Ozella Fields Coleman was born July, 18, 1933 to the late Effie and Charlie B. Fields in Trenton, Tennessee. Ozella was also raised by the late Beatrice Fields. Ozella realized the master of this great universe is an awesome God, she embraced the Savior’s love and attended First Baptist Church in Trenton, TN. until her health failed. Ozella has always been an extremely hard worker and remained a faithful employee at Milan Arsenal for 40 + years prior to her retirement. She rarely ever used sick days. She was known for her sly remarks and kind spirit on and off the job.

Ozella married Aslee Coleman; they shared five children, and remained married until his death. Cherished memories will forever be in the hearts of my loving children: Abe Coleman, Dallis Coleman Sr. (Deceased), Gale Oaks (Jerry), Queen Taliaferro (Patrick), and Kent Coleman. Ozella has 13 Grand Children, 22 Great Grand Children, and 7 Great Great Grand Children. Ozella also leaves her loving brothers and sisters: Elsie Wiggins, Ruth Williams, Jr. Fields (Betty), Lydia Smith, Connie Smith, Barbie Jones, Marshall Fields (Denice), Charlene Hurt (Johnny), Angela Reese (Dewayne), Janet Clark (Danny) and Janice Fields and a host of nieces and nephews.
