Mr. Michael Raymond Smith, 65 of Humboldt, TN passed away Saturday August 5th at Jackson General Hospital. Mr. Smith was born July 16, 1952 in Humboldt, TN to the late Evelena Smith.

He was an employee at Young Touchstone for 15 years. He also worked at the Milan Arsenal Ammunition Plant. Also he was induted into the Humboldt Hall of Fame in 2014. He was a devoted member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Cedar Grove where he served as a deacon of the church. He was also proceeded in death by his son Lonzell Smith, his nephew Gaylon Smith, his grandson Jordan Vonstein and his sister Gail Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife Dessie, two sons Corelly (Courtney) Smith of Iowa, and Terrence Tinsley of Lexington, two daughters; Adrienne (Willie) Patterson of Milan, Catreacse (Jarrett) Parker of Lexington, seven grandchildren; Isiah Smith, Carelly Smith Jr., Malik Smith, Kandon Patterson, Queenesha Patterson, Seth Parker, Maya Parker, one sister Dorothy Smith and one brother Dwight (Gwen) Smith and a host of nieces and nephews.
