Mr. Joseph Lee Smith was born September 12, 1941 to the late Early Smith and Ethaleen Patterson. He departed this life
on May 2, 2017 Joseph had little education; but he taught himself the trade of carpentry. He was kind to all never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Joseph Jr., and one sister: Peggy Ann.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons: Charlie (Regina) Smith Saulsbury, TN, Rodney (Lorice) Smith of Middleton,
TN; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; four brothers: David (Tanita) Gilliam Indianapolis, IN, Willie (Annie Ruth) Smith, Earl (Patsy) Smith of Bolivar, TN. Leroy (T Buggs of Nashville, TN.; six sisters: Mae Donald (Cordova, TN), Christine Smith of Michigan City, MS, Earnestine (Anthony) Roystone Hickory Flat, MS. Della (Robert) Norment of Whiteville, TN, Martha (Anthony) Polk of Olive Branch, MS and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
