Joey Roberts Jr., of Bolivar, TN, passed Thursday, April 25, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. His funeral service will
be held at Hardeman County Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Visitation will be from 10am to 1pm. The funeral will be at 1pm followed by interment at Reaves Cemetery.
Joey was born October 16, 1971 to Joey and Janice Roberts. He was known as Tooter to his family. He is a 1989 graduate of
Bolivar Central High School. He married his wife, Edna Roberts, on July 15, 2001. Together they raised four boys. He worked in construction most of his life. He was Baptized at Dixie Hills Church.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Roberts of Bolivar, his mother Janice Roberts of Bolivar, his sons, Christian Cox of
Bolivar, Aaron Poole of Jackson, Joey Roberts III of Bolivar, and Ethan Roberts of Bolivar, his sisters Jackie Hilliard of Bolivar, Jeannette Woods and her husband Paul Woods of Middleton and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joey Roberts of Bolivar, grandparents, Pitser and Ruth Roberts of Bolivar, James and Lura Luna of Walnut, and a brother-in-law, Charles Hilliard of Bolivar.
