During the early morning of Saturday May 20, 2017, the angel of death was summoned to Mckenzie Health Care to end the earthly life of James Earl Falls. On Friday July 12,1941, James Earl Falls was bon to the late Lena B. Pledge-Adkison and Jim Moore in Hardeman both preceded him in death.

He was united in marriage to the late Esper Myrtle Lee Carter-Falls on December 3, 1964. To this union four children we born. James Earl Falls was affectionately known as “Pete” by all who loved and befriended him. Pete was very active in Carroll County. He was an active member of the NAACP, Democratic Party, Laymen of Obton River District Association. He was the Chairman of the Agirg Advisory Council. Pete” had a love for cooking. He often cooked for others during holidays and other festive events. “Pete ‘could often be found at WCSSD barbequing for the football players. When duty called Pete found himself answering the call of the United States of American Military. By serving one term in the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his memory; two sons; Nelson Falls (Patty) of Jackson, TN; Maurice falls (Brenda), two daughters; Melinda Quisenberry (James) both of Mckenzie, TN Mishun Iloff (Shawn-deceased) of Trezevant, TN. One step sister; Sarah Brown (Floyd) of Bradford, TN. One step brother Earskine (Rebecca) Adkisson of Atwood, TN. Eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
