Mr. James Dennis Parker was born on December 13, 1941 in Carroll County, TN to the late Mozella Nesbitt Jamison and David Parker. He was raised in Carroll County.

He was educated in the Lexington School System. Dennis worked as a mechanic for many years among many other talents. His favorite pass time was to shop at thrifty stores and visiting family and friends. He was a joy to be around, to know him was to love him. He professed his hope in Christ at a late age in life and attended Parker’s Chapel and Timberlake Grove Baptist Church. Dennis departed this earthly life on March 1, 2019 at Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

Dennis had fourteen children which one preceded him in death (Kember Lynn Parker), six brothers: Hurbert Parker, DL Parker, Joseph Parker, Larry Parker, Linzey Parker and Denver Parker whom all preceded him in death.

Dennis lived a prosperous life and has gone on to be with our Heavenly father. He leaves to cherish his memories a special friend
of fourteen years: Betty Joe Chapel. He is survived by three brothers: Howard (Betty) Parker of Crossroad, TN, Dossey Parker of Lexington, TN and J.L. (Linda) Parker of Indiana; He also leaves to mourn thirteen children: Pricilla Parker of Jackson, TN, Dennis
DeWayne Parker (Marshay Arnold) of Lexington, TN, Anthen Lee (Carla) Parker of Huntingdon, TN, Janoroffer Renee Parker (Donald Gordon) of Huntingdon, TN, Eric Junior (Tequilla) Parker of Bruceton, TN, Matthew (Lisa) Parker of Wildersville, TN, Shantay Louvat (Addison) Kelley of Chattanooga, TN, Melanie Gail Weakly of Missouri, Dana Michelle (William) Cannon of Hendersonville, TN, James Alexander Raspberry of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Jamie Parker of Jackson, TN, and Jonathan Michael Parker of Lexington, TN. He also leaves behind thirty-eight grandchildren, twentysix great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
