James Author Kelly was born December 1, 1935 to the late Moses Lee Kelley and Mary Bell Chambers in Bolivar, TN.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He was educated in Polk-Clark school system. James was employed with Humboldt Housing for many years.
James was loved by all that met him always willing to lend a helping hand.
James was preceded by in death by his parents Moses Lee Kelley and Mary Bell Chamers; one daughter: Villa, 2 sisters: Maxine and Georgia Mae; one brother: Eugene Kelley.
He leaves to cherish his memory five children: Debra, Degi Gail, Cassandra and son Robert Skinner. Eleven grandchildren; four sisters: Marie K. (Larry) Pearson of Jackson, TN, Mary Kelley of Humboldt, Patricia Kelley of Milan, TN, Earnestine Mclin (Nelson) of Humboldt, TN. One brother: Lee Kelley (Lillie Bee) of Milan. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A special friend Linford Carr.
