Dorothy Marie Nathan was born on February 14, 1951 to Ben Williams Harris and Leatha Harris in Hardeman County, Tennessee.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age at All Nations Ministries in Bolivar, Tennessee.
Dorothy married Jessie Nathan on July 11, 1970, who she remain married to until her death. To this union they were blessed with eight wonderful children.
Dorothy departed this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
She was preceded in death by both parents, her siblings: Rosie Harris. Thelma Nathan, Gussie Harris, Curtis Harris, uncles: Rainey Sails, Milton Sails, aunts: Nora Sails, Cressie Harris, Betty Jane Simon and Ida M. Woods. Dorothy leaves behind her eight children: Janet Bowles Nathan, Richard Nathan (Brenda), Billy Nathan (Sheryl), Vickey Nathan, Bernice Nathan, Joe Nathan, Colisha Nathan, Jeffery Nathan (Oktober); two brothers: Every Lee Harris (Lula), Walter Harris, one sister: Elizabeth Woods, one brother in law: Willie Nathan, two sisters in law: Vergie Nathan and Ora B. Brown. Also, seventeen grandchildren a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends who
will miss her dearly.
